KR Trends: Wearing Winter White

Another KR trend of the month is  winter white. What I love about this "trend" is that is never goes out of style. White or off-white goes with just about anything and serves as a fabulous stage  for eye-catching baubles. No white after labor day? Who follows that rule? Anyway, it depends what day of the year you start counting.

For you California girls who can still make it to the beach this warm winter, rock these golden palm pants and a loose tank. Drape this cozy white cardi over you when it gets breezy.

Fleece is a great option for the winter cold. And this shaggy, retro chic coat is a stylish way to do it. Comes with a broad collar to protect the neck. Some say if you keep the head and neck warm, the rest of your body does better against the cold. True? Not sure, but something to consider ;) This outfit, you could do for a brunch with the ladies or a glamorous night out.

I would love myself a lovely, lace dress, and this is one to seriously consider. The sheer sleeves also add a romantic feel to the piece that I adore. This outfit is appropriate for a brunch or even a relaxed weekend in the park. Love the print in the scarf and bag. I've seen this mini Philip Lim satchel less frequently than the iconic Pashli Satchel, but I like that it makes just as much of a statement. The pearls and headband make the outfit a little Blair Waldorf, don't you think?

Though this outfit isn't totally "winter white," I chose to style this look with a blue-printed (but not blueprint) pant because it makes a bold statement without taking away from the crisp white everywhere else.  Another piece I'm crazy about in this look is the loafer. It's a classic shape with a masculine feel, but jives really well with the femininity of the outfit.

Valentine's day is coming up and this look is absolutely appropriate for a romantic dinner date. The skater skirt shape is so sweet and on-trend.

The office is anything but boring in this commanding number. It's bold, but not too loud. This look also consists of some good investment pieces. A blazer is a working-woman must have. It pulls together even more casual outfits so you never look sloppy in a less formal environment (appropriate for weekends too). A simple, structured tote is also great for carrying all your daily work and play essentials. And this shell-colored convertible tube skirt is the perfect example of keeping your closet versatile! Wear it as a dress or top as well for easy weekend looks.

The style of this outfit is not one I usually go for, but I would absolutely wear it! The chunky sweater and relaxed pant pair well for a casual day. The printed bag is my personal favorite of this look. It's an adorable bag and I like that the print and color are subtle and versatile enough to wear many ways.
